Shawn brings over 20 years of experience in the financial industry and co-founded Note Advisors with his colleague, Tom Waring Jr., to offer a more holistic approach to wealth management. He is committed to meeting clients wherever they are on their financial journey, helping them align their financial plans with their broader life goals and purpose.

Passionate about empowering others, Shawn enjoys sharing his expertise with those ready to achieve their personal and business goals. He specializes in crafting, executing, and monitoring customized financial plans that align with both individual and business aspirations, covering areas such as investments, taxes, retirement, and estate planning.

Outside of his work, Shawn is deeply involved in his community. He serves as the Director of the Buffalo Renaissance Foundation, Co-Chairs the WNY chapter of Tee it Up for the Troops, and serves on the board of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of WNY.

A proud Buffalo native and graduate of UB, Shawn values family above all else. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Sarah, and their two daughters, as well as coaching his youngest daughter’s youth softball team. When he’s not with his family, you might find him enjoying a round of golf.
